MUSCAT/TOKYO (Reuters) – A Japanese oil tanker damaged in an explosion in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most important shipping lanes, was being diverted to a port in the UAE on Wednesday.

One of the 31 crew aboard was injured but no oil leaked from the M Star very large crude carrier (VLCC), according to the Japanese transport ministry.  It said an explosion occurred onboard at around 00:30 a.m. local time (2030 GMT Tuesday), but the cause was unclear.
"A crew member saw light on the horizon just before the explosion, so (ship owner Mitsui O.S.K.) believes there is a possibility it was caused by an outside attack," Japan's ministry said in a statement.

Oman's coastguard said there was no evidence of any attack on the tanker and instead cited an earthquake.  "The boat was hit by a tremor ...we have no information of an attack," an Omani coastguard official told Reuters.

 Now that is a first!  Oil tanker explodes due to an earthquake.  Almost as good as G.W. orchestrating 9-11!  This quake in question had some staying power as how it happened 4 DAYS BEFORE the explosion!

Well this book will make you want to run right out and sell all your assets and buy bullets beans and bullion!

Well not necessarily all of that that but at least it is a start.  I really hope these guys are wrong in their prediction of the future economic mess my, yours and ours (is that a word "ours") parents got us in.  Our grandparents, I am sure, are not happy in the way in which they, the baby boomers are leaving our country in financial ruin. There are some good pointers in here if you want to save your almighty dollar by placing them in different financial vehicles.

Took me a while to read and will keep it around as a desk reference as I shuffle my funds to diversify.  Yeah, I will be picking up another 1000rnd of 5.56 as well.

Obama’s Dept. of Justice has given Black Panthers a pass to demand the deaths of white babies!

What do you suppose would happen if someone with ties to the Republican Party were to come out of a house with the sign “Whites Only, no blacks allowed” and spout racial hatred suggesting we need to kill blacks and their children?

It would be front page news wouldn’t it? And the entire Republican Party would be called upon to repudiate the racist.

So, why is there not only silence when a black man does the reverse but with a seeming wink and nod coming from Obama’s Dept. of Justice?

National Geographic, not Fox News, presents this view of the hate that emanates from the New Black Panther party in Philadelphia:

Note that Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, seen together in this video, were also the defendants in a prosecution dropped by Obama’s Dept. of Justice for voter intimidation outside a polling place in 2008. Note also that Mr. Jackson, the taller man, is a registered Democrat poll watcher in Philadelphia and an elected member of the Democratic Committee in that city.

It’s hard to square the large message of “PEACE” on the front door of one of the houses the two men leave in the video with statements by Shabazz that “It’s time to Kill Some Crackers! You’re gonna have to Kill their babies!” Archived views of Jackson’s web site (now scrubbed) are equally vile.



But even more troubling are the accusations of J. Christian Adams, a former Dept. of Justice lawyer, who recently testified before the U.S. Civil Rights Commission that his political bosses at DOJ were “hostile” to enforcing any law where blacks victimized whites. “Payback time” is the attitude Adams observed while still at Justice.

With all the phony charges of racism directed at Tea Partiers without a shred of evidence, one might think that the same standard would be applied here. Especially when the New Black Panthers seen here are so willing to make their racial hatred public. In the Tea Party case, reporters sought out elected GOP leaders asking them to repudiate even the unfounded allegations. Can you find multiple examples of where elected Democrats are asked to do the same here?

Can it be that the New Black Panther hatemongers feel empowered by what is obviously a two sided enforcement strategy by Obama’s Dept. of Justice? How sad that Attorney General Eric Holder, perhaps even Obama himself, fail to understand that by looking the other way they encourage racism from all sides!

Book Review "CATASTROPHE"

This one has been sitting on my to read book shelf for a while however I have finally sucked it down.  Now this was not a no brainer like the Bourne series where the 700 pages were devoured in just a few nights.  I actually payed attention to what Mr. Morris wrote.  

He has some valid points and some of his predictions did come true.  I would definitely take the time to add this to your summer leading list and be ready for the November midterm elections  by being informed.  That is one of the things the founding fathers wanted, was an educated population and electorate.  

Pay particular attention to Chapter 7 where the US taxpayer is giving financial aid to Hamas, and Chapter 14 where the Clinton's goofed and "gave" the oil industry an estimated $60 billion in lost royalty revenue!  You left wingers thought Bush/Cheney were in the bag for the oil industry!

Happy Birthday America!

For all the BS that is going on in our country which is causing the Founding Fathers some sleepless nights, we have it good!

So fire up the grill, drink a Bud or a Coors, get sun burnt, eat a tube steak and brats, shoot some "illegal" fireworks at your neighbors house, watch the big fireworks display with your family and friends, sit in traffic for an hour and wash it all down with a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with strawberry's and blueberry's.
