Ammo
Well CMP charged my card for the two cans of 30.06 ammo I ordered back in April so I guess that means in a few days the Nanny will get an interesting delivery on the front porch, which by the way I am in the process of rejuvenating. Replacing rotting wood, trim caulking and painting. A long process made even longer by the fact that I really dont start the project in earnest until about 830pm..
Anyhow good news keeps on a coming! Praise the lord and pass the ammunition!

Why ammo is in short supply
In addition to the surge in civilian stock piling......
...the military is trying to maximize production at its sole remaining small caliber plant in Lake City, MO. In 2000, Lake City delivered 350 million rounds a year; it now produces 1.2 billion rounds annually, and is aiming for 1.5 billion by consolidating infrastructure, standing up mothballed equipment, modernizing wherever possible without shutdowns, and hiring new shifts.
