Cigar Report Rocky Patel "1961"

So there I was dress up and ready to rock on Halloween. I had my princess fairy and my "Wicked" witch on each arm....

Ok, I was really in the rear with the other guys drink beers and pushing strollers loaded with more beers, the perfect time to smoke a fatty while monitoring the looting being conducted by the princess fairy and her gaggle of new friends.

Tonight's selection was another fine cigar from the Cigar Dave Officers Club Program, a Rocky Patel "1961"

Anyhow this was a good burn!
Excellent flavor, all through the smoke to include light up and endgame. Sometimes you know who the last little bit can be like smoking oak leaves. This was a good one that you wanted to burn all the way down to your finger tips.

Went well with the Yungeling I was sipping on, however the 6-7 bottles consumed may have had a little influence on my sensory system.

I would get another RP 1961 if I was out shopping for cigars, in the mean time I have quite a few to puff on in the old humidor!

The fun never ends at Greenies!

OV is a blast! Car fires, murders, car chases, house fires! Come to OV, eat some shrimp at Greenies on the deck and have some fun..Don't forget to pack some heat and bring a camera... You never know what might happen!

Gotta Love the "View"

This picture of a high-speed car chase was taken in front of our house. Our house would be in the bottom left corner (off screen).

The lefts continued attack on Christmas

A Michigan man has filed a federal lawsuit claiming his constitutional rights were violated when he was ordered to remove a Nativity scene from the median of a public road — a creche that his family has displayed at the location for 63 years.

All because of an out of state organization does not like it! Where is the community support?

Tell the
Macomb County Road Commission they are crazy to support this!

Send the Freedom from Religion Foundation a piece of your mind!

Now this is interesting?

Gov't take over of the internet

We are in a "State of Emergency" and this is how the Fed is going to grab control of the internet and boot FOXNEWS and the likes of Rush! Say bye bye to twitter and facebook as well.

"Experts have for years pointed to the potential problem of Internet access during a severe pandemic, which would be a unique kind of emergency. It would be global, affecting many areas at once, and would last for weeks or months, unlike a disaster such as a hurricane or earthquake."

"The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for ensuring that critical telecommunications infrastructure is protected."

BLOCKING WEBSITES

"Private Internet providers might need government authorization to block popular websites, it said, or to reduce residential transmission speeds to make way for commerce."

The thing to ponder now, how does the internet handle all of the "normal" business traffic?

Time to Start stocking up

The 100-watt incandescent light bulb will be banned in the U.S. starting Jan. 1, 2012, under energy legislation signed by President Bush. The law bans 75-, 60- and 40-watt bulbs by 2014.

What would Thomas Edison think?

I think I would rather pay 68 cents for a 100watt bulb then 16 dollars for mercury filled "environmentally friendly" POS!

This we will defend!

Any military officer worth their salt should have had a conversation amoungst their peers concerning this. When do you call a bullshit order a bullshit order and stand your ground? Pulling the trigger on the American people could end up very badly for federal troops and the government leadership. - Nutz

Our oath is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and not to any political party. In the long-standing tradition of the U.S. military, we are apolitical. We don’t care if unlawful orders come from a Democrat or a Republican, or if the violation is bi-partisan. We will not obey unconstitutional (and thus unlawful) and immoral orders, such as orders to disarm the American people or to place them under martial law. We won’t “just follow orders.” Our motto: “Not on Our Watch!” or to put it even more succinctly, in the words of 101st Airborne Commander General Anthony McAuliffe at the Battle of the Bulge, “NUTS!”

There is at this time a debate within the ranks of the military regarding their oath. Some mistakenly believe they must follow any order the President issues. But many others do understand that their loyalty is to the Constitution and to the people, and understand what that means.

Fitting for the times?

"There is no way to rule innocent men. The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws."
— Ayn Rand, "Atlas Shrugged."

You know my neighbor Scotty was reading this 1000 page book a while back... He said it was pretty good. Maybe I should add it to my pile of "to reads"

Road trip with Mules!

Nutz and Crackerz were recently out in western Virginia on a road trip down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the Crackerz asked sarcastically, 'Relatives of yours?'
'Yep,'Nutz replied, 'in-laws.'

The Fall of the Almighty Dollar

I guess we can thank the Anointed one for this!

"The dollar slumped to a 14-month low against the euro on Wednesday, pushing the price of gold to a record high and crude oil futures above 75 dollars for the first time in a year."

So when you see prices at the pump, remember, the president controls the monetary system, well at least has a large vote by appointing the Fed Chairman. A crappy dollar means more dollars are needed to buy the same amount of oil!

And as the libs pointed out Bush controlled oil prices to help republicans so that must mean Obama now controls oil prices and he is sticking it to the poor in the form of fuel tax.. Which is at 18.5 cents per gallon.

So an average 10 gallon tank of gas is costing you a $1.85 in taxes! Multiply that by 2.28 cars per house hold and 1 ten gallon tank per car per week = $4.21 or $219.33 annually in fuel taxes per family. Assuming that there are 100 million family's in the US, total revenue from personal vehicle fuel taxes would be just shy of $22 Billion annually!

Taking a swag at the cost per mile to build a highway in the US say $2million per mile averaging of course, the Government could build 11,000 miles of new interstate in 1 year on federal fuel taxes alone. That is roughly 4 new interstates from New York to California roughly 2700 miles!

Interesting.. Anyhow I hope you like purchasing your gas in Swiss Franc!

Media Hypocracy 102

Rush and the NFL...

A bummer that Rush Limbaugh is getting such a bad rap for wanting to purchase an NFL team. More power to him if he has the cash! It is very hypocritical of the media to give Rush a hard time when the NFL and the media welcomes back the likes of Michael Vick a convicted felon and the multitude of other players who have done hard time for a crime.

You go Rush!
