Once again...

The Government is getting railroaded by defense contractors who think they can build something better then what the commercial world (Google/Microsoft) can do.

DCGS (Distributed Common Ground System) IMO is a PoS.  I have worked with it on a couple of occasions and it is difficult at best for the user to interface with.  Furthermore getting information into it is challenging and sharing is difficult as well.  Share Point linked with Google Earth is much more user friendly... and I hate to say better!
