Partagas

Here is a new one from the Cigar Dave collection. Partagas 1845 (Cifuentes y Cia)

Draw: Pretty smooth, a little tough at the beginning.

Burn Time: A shorty.. only sucked on this for about 25min.

Uniform Burn: The cigar burned well through out the evolution.

Flavor: I was suprised with this one, the flavor was actually not quite what I have come to expect from the Cigar Dave Collection... A lot bitter.. kind of like the kind of bitterness you get when you get to the very end of a cigar.

After Taste: TBD

Price: Unknown Cigar Dave Special

Purchase Again: Nope

Just a thought...

So there i was driving to work today and a thought crossed my mind as I sat in the ultra fast lane going 10 over and getting passed and tailgated like i was the little old lady from Pasadena. Anyhow here was my thought... everyone these days is talking about global warming and the threat that it poses to the world. Where are the facts? Rush was talking a couple of day ago about how in the alps, abandoned silver mines have been found as some glaciers have retreated? Anyhow we all know that the earth wobbles about its polar axis. Is it possible that the earth wobbles in its yearly progression / orbit around the sun? The third rock gets a little closer to that star we call the "sun" on some laps and further on others? After all gravity is not just an earth thing, it is a whole universe thing... If momma does wobble like a drunken sailor in Thailand in the big orbit, could this effect the global temperature more then man could possibly even consider possible by automobile exhaust and burning the Amazonian jungles? Just a thought... I am still waiting for an answer as to what caused the last ice age to go away... you know the one that created the great lakes! I think uncle sugar needs to spend a few billion to launch a probe to measure the wobble...

At least they did not have RPG's and AK's and were looking at making some sailors dance! Bill come save Norfolk as well!

Delivering the Goods!

My "friends" yesterday at lunch said I should post this particular story to the blog as it qualifies as bloggable.
So there I was Friday afternoon cutting the grass, edging, sweeping, ranking, whacking and doing all the normal weekly yard chores. I finished up, put away my tools shut the garage door and proceeded to get out of my dirty clothes. After all the washer and dryer are in the garage so why carry things upstairs when I do not have to? I gut buck naked and my next stop was the shower. Not an un normal thing for me to do, streak the house after working in the yard. It is almost out door shower weather as well, however this week was a bit too cool. So in the house I went. Just as I spun the corner from the garage to the main hallway, the mail man rang our door bell and was looking through our doorway windows! Busted, in my birthday suit by the mail man. Well what else can ya do other then wave and meet the fellow at the door! I did not do that! I did sheepishly turn around, hide behind a wall for a count of ten then laughed my way all the way to the shower!
