How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries.
Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.
The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.
Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.

Book Review: “Beginning of the End” John Hagee
Well this is one of those that I would not have purchased at the book store. However it was in a grab box at the Laundromat; I picked it up a few months ago and was in need of something to read. Although published in 1996, it is very relevant to today’s global events. I am not much a bible and Jesus kind of guy however, yes this is me going out on a limb, the bible might be more then book of rules written to control the masses. I will have to let you read it and decide for yourself about the end of the world and the people who heard about it thought god. Ooh, way too deep for the Nutz!

Out of the box
Unfortunately, the people that control the defense dollars for the Navy, like their big gun ship of the line battle ship bosses before them will make the same mistake. In 20 years the future will be the small stealthy UAVs that can carry a $10,000 torpedo and cripple a flat top. All those carrier based drones X-47 and others will be out of play. Big Navy, think outside the box, think small, think lethal think VSTOL on a cruiser or destroyer! Tailhookers, your days are numbered!

Book Review: Vince Flynn Consent to Kill
In classic Mitch Rapp style, Vince Flynn creates another good one. A quick read, I can usually put away a couple of hundred pages in about two weeks. I would like to see a little more on the technical side and the inner working of the magic behind Mitch’s success in the field. Maybe Vince can do a little research and come up with a techno thriller.
Especially in TEXAS
At Texas Stadium they should have hired these young ladies to sing the National Anthem..
