Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity Church of Christ. I found this interesting.

Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa . No where is AMERICA even mentioned. Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join Obama's church... B-L-A-C-K!!! Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his (former?) Muslim upbringing.
Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his church! And possibly a covert worshiper of the Muslim faith, even today. This guy desires to rule over America while his loyalty is totally vested in a Black Africa !
I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers. This is why it is so important to pass this message along to all of our family & friends. To think that Obama has even the slightest chance in the run for the presidency, is really scary.

Look, don't you think it's one thing to "get people thinking" when you do it with facts; but scaremongering chain emails that are full of falsehoods don't get people to think - they spread lies and fear based on lies. That's it.
Why does Obama's church scare you? Or why should it scare anyone else? Did you look at their 10 point mission statement? I don't see much different there from say, an ethnic Catholic or Eastern Orthodox Church statement (substituting the appropriate ethnic group name where Obama's church has "black", of course). Many Christian churches worship in a style/practice that has arisen out of their own indigenous culture, and has a spirituality unique to its racial or ethnic roots. Black Christian culture has its own spirituality and traditions just as Greek Orthodoxy, Iraqi Chaldean Catholicism, Antiochian Orthodoxy, Mexican Catholicism, Russian Orthodoxy, or the Palestinian Catholics. Does this make these other groups (which are well represented in the U.S.) just as alarming? Or is Obama's church alarming just because it's black, and not, say, Russian?
Because of location, my parish church happens to be a mostly Polish one. Should we send out chain emails about the folks here because they're always talking about Poland, the Church has Polish and Vatican flags (no US flag! oh noes!), has Polish Masses, Polish devotions/outreach, and almost never mentions the U.S.? Are the little old Polish ladies who spend their days in the church basement making pierogis to raise money a threat to national security?
If not - why not? Why is it a different standard for Obama's church? Because they're a black church, not a white one?

There's also a picture in there of Bush saluting the flag with his hand on his stomach... If hand placement during the anthem is so all important, what's that say about him (other than that he's either uncoordinated, lazy, doesn't care like most of the rest of us, or maybe that he's just stupid lol)??
