Gasoline and You

The intersting thing that we should all be familiar with is Gasoline futures. You see gas is purchased in bulk (42,000 gallons) for delivery in a future date. This date is usually 1-2 months from the current day. So with this knowledge, it is robbery when the gas stations jack up thier prices immediatly on the price of crude oil. You see they already paid for the gas that is in thier tanks at a much lower price then what it is actually selling at. However these disrtubutors need to aquire more money to purchase gas for a future delivery date. Plus you have to throw in taxes and transportation expenses, this is still an interesting number.
