Denny's to give away free Grand Slam breakfasts - BusinessWeekSPARTANBURG, S.C.
Denny's Corp. said it will give away a free Grand Slam breakfast to any customer visiting its restaurants on Tuesday between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The restaurant chain announced the giveaway during an ad that aired during the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Denny's said Monday that it expects up to 2 million people to take advantage of the deal.
"This free offer is our way of reacquainting America with Denny's real breakfast and with the Denny's brand," Chief Executive Nelson Marchioli said in a statement.
The Grand Slam breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, bacon strips and sausage links.
The company sells more than 12.5 million Grand Slam breakfasts a year.
