I used to be in favor of adopting the FAIR TAX; but, now I see why I was just being silly and way too practical, as usual.
Given the fact that three of Obama's Cabinet level appointees have admitted to evading as much as $120,000.00 of unpaid taxes, I can see why the politicians in power don't want the FAIR TAX. If you're not paying the taxes that you owe, why institute a tax system where everyone pays at the point of purchase?
When I grow up, I want to be just like the really big boys in DC and not like the poor schmucks in the middle class who make payments to the IRS every payday!
